This is what "they" say about me:
Laurel Christensen served a mission to Riverside, California, before graduating from Brigham Young University. She has spent most of her career at Deseret Book Company, where she worked for several years as the director of entertainment, producing shows like The Forgotten Carols and managing music groups like Jericho Road. She is currently the general manager for the Time Out for Women division. In her spare time, Laurel is finishing a Master's program in Communications Management and hopes to take the LSAT (that's the test people take to go to Law School) soon, just to say she did it! She loves working with teenage girls and enjoys making sure they are well-educated about the world of Jane Austen.
You still here? Well, then, here are a few things you might actually find interesting:
Birthday: February 9th
Age: I'm sorry. Did you say something?
Camp Counselor Nickname: Jabberjaws (which is odd because I don't really like to talk much...)
Places lived: California, Kentucky, Missouri, Utah, Connecticut (okay, I only spent 3 months in CT...I was roommates with my 2-yr old nephew, living with my sister's family, but I woke up every morning feeling like I was in a movie...because it was so pretty there, not because I was sharing a room with my nephew!... and so it totally counts.)
Favorite Movies: Pride & Prejudice, Pride & Prejudice, Pride & Prejudice (to name a few)
Favorite Children's Book: The Paperbag Princess and Fanny's Dream
Favorite Ice Cream: Peanut Butter & Chocolate (from Baskin Robbins, actually)
Favorite Scripture (at least right now): "Him that is able to do EXCEEDING ABUNDANTLY above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us." —Ephesians 3:20
