So, earlier this summer, I was headed out of town to go speak at a girls camp (Hello to my new friends in the St. George West Stake!! You are amazing!). I was running late getting on the road.

But, there was a problem.

The little "tire pressure" light in my car was on and it had been on for about a week.

Now, you should know that I had been having issues with my light for a few months. It would come on and then I would kind of freak out. But, every time I took it in, they would just put a little air in the tire and send me on my way (sometimes my tires weren't actually low...the light was just being annoying!)

So, since it hadn't been a big deal before, I thought I could just take care of it when I got back from my little road trip. But, I just couldn't shake the feeling that I needed to go in before I got on the highway.

Good thing too! Not only did I have a nail in one of the tires, but the tread was worn through enough that one of the tires would have very likely blown, in the heat at high speeds...and I would  have been alone on the highway.

I just thought it was this little light that didn't really mean anything.
But, that little "warning" or "hey! pay attention" was more important than I realized!

Do you have a warning light on right now? Is there something you've been thinking about doing but it seems little and unimportant?

Maybe you have been getting a little feeling that you should call a friend. Maybe you've called her before and it didn't seem like there was any reason for your call. But, now you're thinking you should call her again.

CALL HER.

Maybe you keep thinking you need to tell your brother you love him. And you've done it before and he just rolls his eyes and ignores you. But, you are thinking you need to tell him again.

TELL HIM.

I'm a believer that the Lord, through the Spirit, is talking to us far more often than we acknowledge. We're tempted to think it's just us, especially if it's something that doesn't make sense. ... BUT, what if it IS Him?
What if the impression, repeated and seemingly unimportant, is from Him?

Pay attention for a few days.
Every good impression that you get to call or check or do...
Call.
Check.
Do.
